Latex Paint Drying Instructions
(To identify latex paint, read the instructions. The will indicate
that rollers & brusher can be cleaned using soap & water.)

1. Remove lid from paint container.
2. Add sand or clay-based cat litter to the paint unitl there are equal parts of absorbant and paint. Stir until mixed.
3. Place the uncovered container in a well-ventilated area until mixture has hardened.
4. Dispose of uncoverd* container with your regular trash.

TIP: When drying out paint form a container that is more than half full, line a sturdy cardboard box with a garbagebag. Alternate between pouring absorbent (sand or catlitter) & paint into the lined box until the paint container is empty**. Stir untill mixed. Finish the process by following steps 3 and 4 from above.

*Leaving the containers uncovered lets the trash hauler now that the paint has been hardened - otherwise it will likely not be picked up.
**Empty paint containers can be disposed of in your regular trash.
